Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks as needed. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met. Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated hours. Assist with heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment safely around the premises. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered.

Skills

Experience with custodial or commercial cleaning preferred. Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic repair techniques. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or visitors. Effective time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly. This position is vital in maintaining the cleanliness standards of our facilities while providing a safe environment for all occupants.
