Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards. Utilize custodial equipment and supplies effectively to ensure high-quality cleaning results. Handle heavy lifting of furniture or equipment as necessary during cleaning processes. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Communicate with management regarding any issues or concerns related to cleanliness or maintenance. Assist with commercial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Proven ability to clean efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience in custodial work or facilities maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in cleaning and maintenance tasks is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills to address client needs and concerns professionally. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Capability for heavy lifting as required by specific cleaning assignments. Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and safety regulations is a plus.
