Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services, facilities maintenance, or commercial cleaning, with strong communication and time management skills. Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting is a plus. Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or industrial settings Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance and cleaning purposes as needed Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as repairing fixtures or minor repairs using appropriate tools Operate cleaning equipment efficiently to ensure high standards of cleanliness Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning schedules within designated timeframes Handle heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and according to safety protocols Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address specific cleaning needs or concerns Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Qualifications

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail in previous roles Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward clients and colleagues
