Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks as needed to ensure facility upkeep Conduct facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Operate heavy equipment or power tools safely during cleaning or maintenance procedures Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning schedules within designated timeframes Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained Provide excellent customer service by addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns from staff or clients

Qualifications

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning chemicals Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during cleaning tasks Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to client needs Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently Reliable work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
