Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or industrial settings Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance and cleaning purposes Operate facilities maintenance equipment to ensure optimal cleanliness and safety standards Use custodial supplies effectively while adhering to safety guidelines Conduct heavy lifting as needed for moving furniture, equipment, or supplies Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift Assist with minor repairs or maintenance tasks when necessary Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to standard

Qualifications

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, especially with facilities maintenance or heavy-duty cleaning tasks Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is advantageous Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and addressing client needs Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical activities required for cleaning duties Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
