Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of various facilities, ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across different facility areas. Operate hand tools and power tools for maintenance and cleaning purposes as needed. Use custodial equipment to clean floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas to high standards of cleanliness. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management. Manage supplies and ensure cleaning materials are stocked and properly stored. Adhere to safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities, including heavy lifting when required. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns from staff or visitors. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed, demonstrating effective time management.

Qualifications

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred; however, training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to client needs. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks that require stamina and strength. Good time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled shifts. Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
