Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Utilize custodial equipment and hand tools effectively to achieve high cleaning standards. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure all areas are well-maintained. Handle commercial cleaning duties for various settings, adapting techniques based on specific requirements. Communicate with supervisors regarding any maintenance issues or safety concerns observed during cleaning duties. Assist in heavy lifting tasks when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury. Occasionally operate power tools for specialized cleaning tasks as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers professionally. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently. Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
