Perfect part-time job for someone semi-retired. Daily transportation to work site by boat. Workload is very light and hours given include travel time.

Hours: Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm

Even when boat rides to work are cancelled on day of you will be paid

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities. This role requires attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. The Cleaner will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for both employees and customers.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas. Handle heavy lifting of equipment or materials as needed during cleaning processes. Utilize commercial cleaning supplies and equipment effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Communicate with facility management regarding any repairs or maintenance issues. Follow safety protocols while using power tools and hand tools for cleaning tasks. Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests promptly and professionally.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as part of the cleaning process. Proficient in using various cleaning tools and equipment, including power tools when necessary. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
