We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across various facilities. Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning and maintenance tasks effectively. Conduct facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues. Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and pressure washers. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards. Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes. Ensure heavy lifting of supplies or equipment is performed safely and in accordance with safety guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered. Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Previous custodial or custodial-related experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning is a plus. Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, often involving supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
