CLEANER - LODGE

Way up north in the Wapusakatto Mountains, you'll find Western Labrador's Ski and Snowboard Resort, Smokey Mountain Ski Club. Since 1961, we've been hitting the slopes and sharing our love of skiing and snowboarding with the communities of Labrador West and visitors from around the globe.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking

Cleaner

to join our team. As part of our housekeeping crew, you'll help keep the lodge clean, comfortable, and welcoming for guests and staff. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a team environment, and doesn't mind a bit of mountain air.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean guest areas, including common rooms, washrooms, hallways, and dining areas Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Empty garbage and recycling bins and ensure proper waste disposal Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) Maintain cleanliness and order in staff areas and equipment rooms Assist with laundry duties (table cloths, chair covers, kitchen towels and cloths) as needed Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly Follow all health, safety, and environmental cleaning procedures

Qualifications:

Previous cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred (not required) Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and handle physical tasks in varying conditions Flexible and reliable--willing to work weekends, holidays, or early/late shifts as needed Positive attitude and respect for guests, coworkers, and property
