Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces Operate hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks as needed Utilize custodial equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Use heavy lifting techniques to move furniture or equipment safely when required Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of equipment Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and promptly

Experience

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on your feet for extended periods Previous experience in customer service or facilities maintenance will be advantageous but is not required
