Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring a hygienic environment for staff, clients, and visitors, contributing to the overall professionalism and safety of our organization.

Duties

Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across various facility areas Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning and maintenance tasks effectively Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies or equipment safely Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of tools and materials Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or special requests from staff or visitors Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report issues promptly

Experience

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with facilities maintenance, including minor repairs using hand tools and power tools, is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work independently with minimal supervision Previous experience with customer service in a cleaning or custodial role is advantageous
