Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Utilize hand tools and power tools for tasks such as minor repairs or maintenance as needed Operate facilities maintenance equipment to ensure optimal functioning of the environment Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes Handle heavy lifting when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment safely and efficiently Maintain supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns

Requirements

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service interactions Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained consistently Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and professionalism
