Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, along with familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or industrial spaces Operate hand tools and power tools for maintenance and cleaning purposes Use custodial equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the safety and functionality of the environment Manage cleaning supplies inventory and report needs for restocking Adhere to safety protocols while handling heavy lifting or using equipment Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional attitude and addressing client requests promptly

Experience

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with facilities maintenance, including use of hand tools and power tools, is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for moving furniture, supplies, or equipment Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
