  • Monday - Friday ; 5 hour shifts

  • $15.55 an hour

  • 5157 Morris St, Halifax, NS
General Description: A cleaner is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included. Responsibilities:
  • Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)
  • Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, lockers rooms and lunchrooms
  • Empties and cleans garbage cans
  • Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors
  • Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
  • Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
  • Additional duties may be required from time to time.
A Federal Clearance is a requirement for this position. Must have been in Canada for 5 years.
