Location: Maritime Muslim Academy -Chain Lake Drive

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: Maritime Muslim Academy is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our school facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors, while respecting the Islamic values that the Academy upholds.

Responsibilities:

? Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other areas of the school daily.

? Perform regular dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors and surfaces.

? Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas, ensuring that waste is managed responsibly.

? Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and other necessities in restrooms and common areas.

? Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

? Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure environment for students and staff.

? Assist with setting up and cleaning after school events and activities as needed.

? Uphold the mission and values of Maritime Muslim Academy by maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

? Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.

? Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

? Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

? Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

? Respect for Islamic values and a willingness to work in an environment that promotes these principles.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team

? Own Transportation ( Preferred)
