Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and effective communication skills to deliver high-quality cleaning services consistently.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or facility environments Operate hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment safely and effectively during cleaning and maintenance tasks Utilize facilities maintenance skills to address minor repairs or report issues needing professional attention Use heavy lifting techniques when moving furniture, equipment, or supplies to ensure safety and efficiency Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of equipment and materials Follow established safety protocols and health standards to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress or any issues encountered during cleaning duties

Experience

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment is a plus Experience in facilities maintenance or general heavy lifting tasks is advantageous Strong customer service skills are beneficial for roles involving client interaction or facility oversight Proven ability to manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on work completed or issues identified
