Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, excellent time management, and strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning tasks efficiently Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas Manage time effectively to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes Use customer service skills to address client requests or concerns professionally and courteously Heavy lifting of supplies or equipment may be required during cleaning procedures Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and operating power tools

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services preferred; training available for motivated candidates Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and facilities maintenance is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the shift Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for scheduled shifts
