Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, excellent time management, and effective communication abilities. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across various facility areas Utilize hand tools and power tools for detailed cleaning and minor maintenance tasks Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other power tools to ensure thorough cleanliness Conduct facilities maintenance activities as needed to uphold safety standards Manage heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and efficiently Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities

Experience

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is a plus Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts Effective communication skills to report issues promptly and collaborate with team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00-$2,500.00 per year
