General Description:

A light duty cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning tasks including but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, dry and damp mopping, full cleaning of washrooms and kitchenettes, and the collection of garbage and recycling.

Responsibilities:

Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration. Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication. Participate in all training as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company. Empty garbage and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport garbage/recycling to collection points. Ensure washrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes are fully cleaned including: clean/disinfect and polish fixtures and appliances as applicable, door handles, walls, mirrors, countertops, partitions, waste receptacles and floors. Replenish supply of consumables such as: toilet paper, hand towels, soap, sanitizer, etc. Dust furniture, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces. Wash glass in interior/exterior doors, partitions, and perimeter windows as applicable. Sweep/dry mop and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted areas and matting as applicable. Spot clean walls, doors, kick plates, etc. removing marks and smudges from vertical surfaces. Clean stairwells and elevator(s) as applicable. Report any damaged or broken utilities to the supervisor. Additional duties as required.

Requirements:

Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team. Attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance. Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment. Dependable and have reliable transportation.
