Job Description
We are currently looking for a Cleaner for a residential property near Burquitlam station. This will be a full-time position. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the building's common areas and ensuring a welcoming environment for residents.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning of residential and commercial properties Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper towels and toilet paper Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible Coordinating duties with other cleaners Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
OTHER
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain cleanliness of common and shared areas such as lobbies, elevators, mail rooms, and amenity spaces Clean glass doors, windows, and ledges inside and out, within reach Organize recycling and ensure all waste is properly sorted and disposed of Report any maintenance issues, damages, or suspicious activity to the building manager Assist with emergency cleaning requests (e.g., spills or other urgent situations)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Cleaning experience is an asset Reliable and a good communicator Excellent time management skills Effective verbal and written communication in English Must be proactive and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
