Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and customer service, along with the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep. Manage time effectively to complete cleaning duties within designated timeframes. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues that arise. Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. Operate hand tools and power tools safely when performing maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while working in various environments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with basic facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all cleaning activities.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
