Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and industrial spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Operate hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment safely and effectively Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or adjustments Utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning tasks within scheduled shifts Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules or issues Assist with heavy lifting or moving equipment when required to support facility upkeep

Experience

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is a plus Strong customer service skills are desirable to ensure positive interactions with clients and staff Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and work in physically demanding environments Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues promptly

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
