Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Cleaner

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for clients and staff.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required, as training will be provided. The Cleaner plays a vital role in upholding the organization's high standards of cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas in accordance with health and safety standards Safely and efficiently operate cleaning machinery and equipment Use hand tools and power tools for specific maintenance tasks when required Perform basic facility maintenance and report larger repair issues to management Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures properly Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and stored correctly Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and safe use of tools and equipment

Qualifications and Requirements

Must be between 20 and 50 years old

Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel to different work locations

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory Familiarity with cleaning equipment, hand tools, and power tools is an asset Strong time management skills with the ability to meet scheduled deadlines Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to

50 pounds

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
