Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial and custodial services, with the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping as needed Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects when required Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards

Experience

Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required Experience with floor care, buffing, or industrial cleaning is a plus Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance is advantageous Familiarity with residential painting or porter duties is beneficial but not necessary Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
