Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and efficiency are highly valued. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position requires strong communication skills, good time management, and the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial or facility environments Use hand tools and power tools for specialized cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to ensure optimal results Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, or reporting larger issues to management Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to company standards Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning duties within scheduled shifts Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored securely after use Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally

Experience

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus Experience working with cleaning chemicals and understanding safety protocols related to cleaning products is beneficial Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to client needs effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly during cleaning tasks Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Customer service experience is advantageous for interacting professionally with clients and staff
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour
