Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial, residential, or industrial settings Operate floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers to maintain high standards of cleanliness Handle specialized cleaning tasks like carpet extraction, window washing, and restroom sanitation Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues Assist with custodial responsibilities during special projects or scheduled cleanings Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency

Qualifications

Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable with a flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts or project needs
