Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, or industrial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness Assist with custodial duties including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and supply replenishment Carry out light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-up painting as needed Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively Follow established safety procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment Maintain cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately Support facilities maintenance activities when required, including porter duties or light repairs

Qualifications

Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude toward work responsibilities Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols is desirable
