Duties

Perform custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Conduct commercial cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Handle heavy lifting of equipment or materials as necessary during cleaning operations. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring that all cleaning supplies and tools are well-maintained. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various cleaning tasks. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered. Maintain time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated timeframes. Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests or concerns from staff or clients regarding cleanliness.

Experience

Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols is beneficial. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks is a plus. Proficient use of hand tools and power tools related to cleaning duties is advantageous. Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and customer interaction. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high-quality work standards.
