PURPOSE

?RESPONSIBILITIES





Major Responsibility 1: General Tasks and Responsibilities

Dispose of garbage, waste materials, and recycling. Pick up debris and empty trash containers Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person Keep your cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all times and your cleaning materials safely stored Be familiar with the required care standards regulations governing your job Maintain polite and good communication with you colleagues and residents at all time Promote workplace safety and ensure workplace safety is practiced Inform to manager of issues that need maintenance and repair of building interiors and exteriors. Take corrective actions when required Keep a current inventory of all supplies and equipment related to maintenance, contact manager to order supplies as needed. Recommend improvements to camp facility.


Major Responsibility 2: Bathrooms

Clean showers Clean and disinfect bathrooms and ?xtures Cleaning toilets, hand-basins, mirrors, paying particular attention to fittings, emptying rubbish bins, sweeping and washing ?oors, re?lling soap and toilet paper dispensers as necessary and mopping down showers.


Major Responsibility 3: Dining Hall

Sweep and Mop Dining hall ?oor daily Clean Washrooms including toilets and showers Emptying wastepaper bins and replacing bins as necessary Cleaning glass doors Wiping down the surfaces of all tables and bench-tops

Major Responsibility 4: Log Home

Maintenance of clean, well-kept spaces and guest accommodations Tasks can include, but are not limited to, dusting, sweeping, mopping, tidying, and cleaning kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:





Required Education/Experience:

Proven previous experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Related degree from a technical college. Standard First Aid/CPR certi?cation Police Record Check (vulnerable sector)


Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

Experience working in a community and child/youth-friendly environment considered an asset Experience in managing cleaning services and or environmental services teams or contracts within institutional type environments Knowledge of housekeeping operations Knowledge of smart building practices Knowledge of and sensitivity to child and youth developmental factors and community issues and how they are impacted by physical environments Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision


Start Date

: ASAP to December 31, 2025
