We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with custodial tasks, facilities maintenance, and commercial cleaning, demonstrating strong time management and communication skills to perform duties efficiently and effectively.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial or industrial settings Utilize hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment to complete maintenance and cleaning projects Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to management Operate heavy lifting equipment when necessary to move supplies or equipment safely Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas, adhering to safety protocols Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific needs Follow safety guidelines related to the use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment

Qualifications

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete work efficiently within scheduled timeframes Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties Customer service orientation with a professional attitude Reliable work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards Prior experience with custodial tasks or facilities maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed
