We are seeking the services of a Healthcare Business Intelligence Lead (BIL) to assist with BI initiatives related to the standardization and implementation of the CIS.
The role of BIL encompasses several activities to establish data-driven decision-making through comprehensive analytics and reporting systems that leverage CIS data for performance tracking and informed business decisions throughout New Brunswick. The primary focus is to build a strategy for robust data analytics and reporting that enable performance tracking and decision-making at facility, organizational, and health systems levels; develop frameworks and tools for real-time access to CIS data and insights; and establish building blocks for reporting and predictive analytics.
The Business Analyst - BIL will be required to work closely with other team members, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and clinical and health administrative stakeholders in the gathering of business, operational, and clinical requirements and design of OKRs and performance indicators to be adopted province wide. This role serves as a business lead to drive the planning and implementation of province-wide business intelligence system.
With the guidance of the CIS Business Stream Lead, the Business Analyst - BIL will be responsible for:
bridging clinical, operational, and administrative information needs to ensure an integrated BI ecosystem
gathering and defining business, clinical, operational, and health system reporting and analytics requirements,
conducting needs and gap analysis,
developing CIS and Provincial BI strategies and roadmaps,
facilitating engagement sessions to define business intelligence needs and requirements, and
foster and maintain close working relationships with the various lines of business to ensure the defined requirements and information technology requirements align.
ensuring BI outputs are tailored for different decision-making levels.
The chosen individual's work will be comprised of a mixture of steady state and project-based efforts.
Some after hours and weekend work may be required for the successful candidate, however, any overtime or work during non-business hours must be approved in advance.
