Family Preservation and Life Skills Worker in Beautiful Northern BC



Our agency is expanding and we are hiring for Family Preservation and Life Skills Workers



We are looking for a Family Preservation and Life Skills Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team to work with adults. The Family Preservation and Life Skills Worker would use family-centered, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to provide consultation, assessment, intervention and monitoring.



The position is permanent and can be full-time or part-time.

Wage:

$22.00-$26.00

General Responsibilities:



Meet with clients on scheduled session dates and carry out scheduled plans from the service plan.

Complete written document and reports as required for MCFD and CLBC. Plan and facilitate individualized client sessions based on their goals. Participate as required in service plan and staff meetings. Consult with Manager on a monthly basis regarding client progress. To communicate effectively with children, families, and the KCDC team.

Qualifications:



Certificate or Diploma in Social Worker, Human Service Worker, or equivalent. College students encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements:



Current Class 5 Driver's License and personal vehicle for work use, preferred Available Monday to Friday, and evenings as weekends as need. Experience working with children is preferred but not required
