Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and professional Bus Driver to safely transport children to school. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work with diverse groups.

Duties

Safely operate buses and other commercial vehicles according to traffic laws and company policies Transport children to designated locations i.e. schools Assist children with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed for children Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the vehicle before and after routes Communicate effectively with children, staff, to ensure smooth operations Follow all safety protocols and report any vehicle issues or safety concerns promptly Keep accurate records of routes, children counts, and any incidents during transit Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger questions or concerns professionally

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for passenger transport Experience working with children, seniors, or diverse populations is preferred Multilingual abilities are a plus; English is highly desirable Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and team members Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and mechanical troubleshooting is advantageous Previous experience in customer service or teaching roles is beneficial Ability to demonstrate safe driving practices and maintain a clean driving record Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow schedules precisely Physical ability to assist passengers as needed and perform routine vehicle inspections
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
