We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. Responsibilities

Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Assist in the operation of forklifts and heavy equipment when necessary.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely. Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Attention to detail in maintaining logs and ensuring cargo safety.
