Cavendish Agri Services supports farmers in growing healthy and productive crops. We have 8 manufacturing/retail locations serving Atlantic Canada. Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.Cavendish Agris trucking division is looking for truck drivers to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting potatoes to the Cavendish Farms plants, in New Annan.The work will start immediately. This is a rotational role during day time hours (12 hour+ shift) running 4 days on and 4 days off.Wage - $23/hourWork Location - based out of Travellers Rest, PE.Qualifications:
- Class-1A drivers license and clean driver's abstract.
- Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
- Bulk hauling experience would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience with live-bottom trailer would be an asset.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Haul potatoes from the storages to the plant.
- Perform vehicle inspections; clean and perform mandatory maintenance to equipment including basic troubleshooting.
- Perform all tasks with safety being the number one priority.
- Ensure completion of paperwork.
- Represent the company in a professional, positive and pleasant manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
