Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. Past experience is required. We are a Monday to Friday operation with the odd short run on Saturdays. Emphasis would be very high for customer service and team oriented approach to work.

No walk ins will be accepted. Please send resume via indeed. A current "N" drivers abstract and resume are required. We are a family owned company and place a high value on teamwork and customer service. Work would be a combination of both in town and the odd overnight trip between our Agassiz base and Alberta. Winter and highway experience is a must. RRSP sharing is available after one year, including boot and clothing allowance. Extended health benefits after 3 months. We also enjoy a variety of social events throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Understand NSC requirements for hours of service. Understanding the use of Electronic logs. Familiarity with BC highways and the lower mainland is an asset. Past experience with the use of electric pallet jacks is an asset.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Forklift operation experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour
