Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and experienced Class one Truck Driver to join our team. The role is intended as a Full-time position. Past experience is required. We are a Monday to Friday operation with the odd short run on Saturdays. Emphasis is very high on customer service and a team-oriented approach to work. The work would be a combination of both local delivery and pick-ups in the Fraser valley and lower Mainland, coupled with the expectation for highway trips to the interior, island and occasional overnight trips. Winter and highway experience is expected

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Understand NSC requirements for hours of service. Understanding the use of electronic logs. Familiarity with BC highways and the lower mainland is a must. Past experience with the use of electric pallet jacks is an asset.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Forklift operation experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 55 per week
