Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Class One (1) Operator Ultrasonic Technician Trainee for our client, a globally known industrial company located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. In this role, you will be responsible for perform daily inspection of transportation equipment and maintain a current drivers log, safely deliver items and housekeeping. If you do, this job is for you! * Pay rate: $28.23/hour - This role starts as a Trainee, but once trained (we remove the trainee tag, usually after the probation period), this role has an hourly wage increase.

Job responsibilities include: * Perform daily inspection of transportation equipment and maintain a current drivers log.

• Safely deliver items throughout Alberta, and on occasion to British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
• Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance on all on site equipment.
• Stack and lay out scaffolding, critical parts, equipment, and material.
• Wash or pressure wash scaffolding, critical parts, equipment, and material.
• Complete daily shop and yard housekeeping duties.
• Operate a variety of equipment (i.e., High pressure exchanger bundle cleaning equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, pressure washer, overhead crane, forklift).
• Industrial shrink wrapping of heat exchangers and components.
• Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment.

To qualify, you should: * Class 1 Operator's License with 3+ years of commercial driving experience.

• Alberta Forklift Ticket and Alberta Overhead Crane and Rigging Ticket are a strong asset.
• Must have a Forklift experience.
• Must have a Valid Class 1 Drivers License.
• Must have experience with manual transmissions.
• Must have experience towing 53-foot trailers.
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) experience is an asset.
• Load Securement experience is considered a strong asset.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong team player skills but the ability to work independently.
• Ability to read and write English with excellent comprehension skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds, must be physically fit, position involves constant walking, bending, and carrying of materials.
• Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or OSSA BSO Certificate, or a combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional certificates.
