Class H home elevator and disability lift technician needed for our growing company. We are looking for someone with relevant experience to join our team!

We take care of every aspect of commercial and residential disability lifts, as well as home elevators - from installations to regular maintenance, service and repairs.

Our client base reaches from the Greater Victoria area all the way up to Port Hardy and beyond, so there can be a significant amount of travelling and some nights spent out of town.

Having a drivers license is a requirement for this job.

The ideal candidate should have experience with elevators (preferably home elevators) as well as stairlifts and platform lifts, and a strong comprehension of mechanical and electrical systems is necessary. You will be expected to work as part of a team as well as independently and self sufficiently.

Duties
- Analyze and troubleshoot elevating devices to identify issues
- Perform maintenance and repairs on elevators, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, inclined platform lifts and related equipment
- Read and interpret schematics and manuals to guide work
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in the installation of home elevators, platform lifts and stairlifts

Qualifications
- Prior experience in elevator maintenance or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in electrical systems and low voltage wiring
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
