Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled class DZ Tow Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the operational readiness of tow equipment. Responsibilities

Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles. Assist customers with vehicle recovery and provide professional customer service throughout interactions. Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with tow trucks and related equipment. Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities, including logs and reports. Assist with vehicle repairs or maintenance as needed, utilizing automotive repair skills when applicable. Manage the safe loading and unloading of vehicles, including those requiring specialized handling such as forklifts or other machinery. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations.

Experience

Prior experience in commercial driving or operating heavy-duty vehicles is required. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair or equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Customer service experience is a plus, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills. Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary. Candidates should possess a valid class DZ driver's license suitable for commercial vehicle operation and have a clean driving record. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
