Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of cargo. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a range of heavy equipment and driving skills. Candidates should possess a valid Class D driver's license.

Duties

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Use the online portal to log hours of service and more Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading, unloading, and scheduling Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues

Requirements

Valid Class D driver's license or better with clean driving record Valid Transporting with Dangerous Goods Certificate Experience in commercial driving for a minimum of 5 years Ability to operate forklifts, heavy machinery, and automotive repair tools is a plus Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations (ex. tiedowns) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and unloading cargo Prior experience with automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous Must pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
