(includes but is not limited to):
Loading drums into trailers or on to the floor as per daily production schedule and spec sheets;
Filling out the loader section of the spec sheets and taking them to the shipping office;
Loosening off the 2-inch bung with the impact gun and finger tightening or removing the 2 inch bung and placing them in pails to ship to the customer as per what the customer spec is say's;
Loading drums on pallets as per customer spec's;
Sweep out trailers prior to loading when necessary;
Properly secure load with load bars or air bag;
Visually inspect exterior quality of steel and poly drums before loading;
Visually inspect the proper UN codes are on the drums;
Switch dock loading light to green when you start a load and red when the load is ready to be pulled out of the loading dock;
Operating and maintaining the Inkjet to UN standards;
Inspect for moisture in the interior of Petro Canada poly drums with a lamp;
Wear all required PPE and follow all company rules and policies;
General line clean up and housekeeping.
Qualifications/Competencies:
Ability to lift and stack drums 3 high in trailers or on the floor;
Ability to lift 50 - 75 Lbs repetitively;
Ability to follow and fill out daily production schedule and spec sheets;
Ability to read and write English fluently;
Ability to follow verbal instruction's;
Excellent communication skills;
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively;
Team player with ability and desire to work well with others;
Ability to accurately count drums for customer shipment's;
