Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Plow Operator to join our team for the upcoming snow removal season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clearing snow with a half ton truck plow, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely. This role requires proficiency in operating a truck with a plow attachment, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace.

Duties

Operate a truck with a plow attachment, to clear snow in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines. Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Requirements

A vaild class 5 drivers licence with no restrictions is required. Experience in operating a truck with a plow attachment is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards Previous experience in construction or similar fields is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus. Experience operating various types of machinery is a plus.

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
