Job Description

The Class 5 Portables Route Driver performs a range of duties including but not limited to providing customers with high-quality service, daily truck inspections, completing daily routes, and other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Job Duties
Completing a daily route servicing portables toilets, emptying, cleaning, and stocking supplies
Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections
Perform driver check-ins at days end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner
Follow all protocols while dumping loads at facilities
May perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager
General yard clean-up
Assist with set up and take down of temporary fencing
Proactively participate in GFL safety culture and training
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Class 5 Drivers License
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer focus
Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of industry an asset
Working Conditions
Exposure to weather elements
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Physically intensive
Exposure to noise and dust
Work Schedule: Friday to Monday or Tuesday to Saturday
