o Delivery of appliances, furniture & lighting to customers and building material to construction sites.
o Loading and delivery of appliances, furniture, lighting and building material.
o Ensure inventory and delivery processes are followed as per policies.
o Maintain and promote safe practices.
o Manage customer relationships on site.
o Shipment receiving, assembly and general warehouse duties as required by the daily task list.
o Customer service-related duties to assist the showroom team with their day-to-day duties.
o Other duties as per manager's request.
o Additional duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
o Class 5 driver's licence.
o Clean drivers abstract.
o High School graduation or equivalent.
o Previous delivery experience.
o Problem solver who enjoys working in team environment
o Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, and delivery personnel.
o Customer service related experience is an asset
o Ability to read and comprehend written and printed materials.
o Must be physically fit to handle building materials
o Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn new software programs.
o Dependable with a focus on safety
o Willingness to learn.
o Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
o Knowledge of furniture & lighting industry is an asset
o Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to move merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds from the receiving area to the warehouse and place it on shelves.

o Reports directly to Home Furniture & Lighting store manager.
