Critical Objective/s

Ensuring the successful completion of daily delivery driver requirements.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 5 vehicle equipped with air brake systems, ensuring adherence to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies. Pick orders and build pallets. Transport goods and materials to designated locations, securing, and unloading of cargo. Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking the air brake system, tires, lights, brakes, and other components to ensure they are in proper working order. Report any defects or maintenance requirements. Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, addressing any inquiries or concerns, and representing the company positively. Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status, potential delays, or any issues encountered on the road. Other driver-related tasks as directed by the Warehouse Supervisors.

Requirements & Qualifications

Valid Class 5 Driver's license. Air Brakes Certification. Clean Driving Abstract. Available on Saturdays and Shift Work depending on operational requirements. Delivery Experience an asset. Must be legally allowed to work in Canada.

Position Skills

Communication. Reading and Writing. Physically able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

Regular Working Hours: 40 hours per week from 7:00am to 3:30 pm. Regular Working Days: Available on Saturdays and shift work. Weekend Work: May be scheduled based on business needs . Breaks: 2 x 30 minute breaks. Overtime: May be required based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

Ability to drive for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. consistently.
