Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to communicate effectively with both team members and customers. Candidates with experience in loading , strapping, and heavy lifting will find this position particularly rewarding. Three years commercial driving required. Ideal for a not working trucker looking to supplement their income.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo documentation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.

Requirements

Valid class 5 drivers license is required. Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record is required. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not mandatory. A commitment to safety protocols and best practices in transportation.
