We have been featured in these articles by the and , and were also named " " by Fast Company Magazine.POSITION OVERVIEWWe are looking for a safety minded, diligent, organized, hard-working Class 3A candidate who will help be responsible for material movement and local delivery of chemical, fertilizer, and seed for a central distribution warehouse. Warehouse duties are also required and includes all the functions of the warehouse.RESPONSIBILITIESThis is a driving and delivery position, and will involve physical movement of product along with warehouse dutiesAdhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.Managing the safe, professional and efficient deliveries direct to customers. This includes a high level of customer facing interactions and communication for scheduling and deliveriesEnsuring the proper functioning of all tools and equipment.Ensuring orders are correct, accurate, safely loaded and ready for deliverySafe operation of all equipment (box truck, forklift, manual and electric pallet jack)Coordinate all required paperwork for shipment and deliveries including proper handling of returnsComplete regular safety and quality auditsComply with driver/warehousing rules and regulations as well as with company policies and proceduresCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents or violationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSCurrent Class 3A license and clean driving recordCurrent TDG and WHMIS endorsement or ability to obtain them5+ years working experience in product delivery and distribution to customer base * Experience working in a warehouseProven work experience managing direct to customer deliveries (Final Mile)Knowledge of the safety and legal documentation processes for handling related driver and warehouse activities (MSDS, Equipment checklist, BOL)Should have excellent leadership and administration skills and abilitiesAbility to effectively manage time, resolve crisis and decision makingAbility to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the companyAbility to work occasional weekend shifts during peak seasonClean/Pass DOT drug/alcohol and physicalPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCertified, or ability to be certified on equipment (forklift, etc)Working understanding of WMS systemAcceptable incident history * Class 1A licenseComply with safety regulationsAbility to safely handle equipment used to physically move inventoryExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)To understand the physical demands of this job, please click and refer to Template JFBN is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
