Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting across various routes.

Duties

Operate Class 3 trucks to transport construction materials, such as gravel, mud, and sand, and equipment to and from job sites. Load and unload freight efficiently and safely using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving. Perform basic maintenance and repairs on the vehicles. and schedule maintenance when needed. Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules. Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.

Requirements

Valid Class 3 drivers license with a clean driving record. Experience driving heavy duty trucks, preferably in the construction environment. Knowledge of construction materials and equipment considered an asset. Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads/ Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers. Self motivated and professional.
